7 Things Never To Take To Work With You

. .

Are you in a tough work environment?

Is your boss like Hannibal Lecter…after a pound of flesh?

I feel prompted to share three things with you.

First, there are seven things you should never take to work with you.

Whining, complaining, murmuring, self-pity, pride, over-inflated ego or a negative attitude.

2 Corinthians 9:6

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”

If you sow those seven negative qualities . . . that’s exactly what you’re going to reap.  If you sow half-hearted efforts on the job…that’s the harvest you will receive.

Second, remember who you’re working for.

Your paycheck may be drawn of the account of the company that employs you . . . but you’re working for the Lord.

Colossians 3:23 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men.”

Third, never forget where promotion comes from.

Remember the words from Psalm 75:6-7 in the Amplified Bible says:

“For not from the east nor from the west nor from the south come promotion and lifting up.  But God is the Judge! He puts down one and lifts up another.”

Did you see that…BUT GOD.

Your Heavenly Father is the One who will lift you up…that’s why you do everything as unto Him…because He’s the One who will bring promotion into your life.
